Bob,I’m sorry I missed it as I’d love to have seen it again. I’m really pleased the film scored well as its a definite film “experience” with the visuals and sound. Not sure I can give it a $ when I never made it in! Mark
Definitely a film that stands up to repeated viewing. Although many of the scenes were long and drawn out I, personally, didn’t find the film slow. For instance, the scene in the Taxi – listening to the voicemail on her phone, crying after seeing her Grandmother still waiting hopefully at the station, then applying her make-up to assume her role of the call girl, helped to define her as still the vulnerable child in an adult world.
