    => Excellent. A real eye opener.
    => Very impressive
    => Moving
    => V. moving and disturbing / Thought provoking and makes one wonder how we would react
    => A different take on the normal Holocaust stories (with Oswald Mosley’s Blackshirts, would we have acted differently, had the Germans invaded Britain?). Profoundly moving.
    => And about rightly timed for those of us who saw something of all that war + were about that age. Many aspects weren’t quite understood – explained to some extent in this film.
    => Liked the way the past & present was linked. Great music & it looked good.
    => Very emotional but handled without verging into over sentimentality.
    =>. Great even second time around. Very affecting.
    => Very absorbing.
    => Very true to the book. Excellent viewing/powerful
    => Sometimes the music made the dialogue difficult to hear.
    => A thought-provoking tearjerker.
    => Best kept ‘til last
    => Holocaust meets Hollywood.

    ‘Very Good: 5 votes
    => As good as mainstream cinema gets – so [?] so good!
    => Very moving
    => Just a very gripping story. Extremely moving

    ‘Poor’: 1 vote
    => A film of two halves. 1st half, sensitively acted, harrowing & heartbreaking but from the moment Michel was found it descended into Hollywood CHEESE of the highest order. Shame, as it could have been a great film. The polar opposite of In Darkness. Shame!
