Hi,
I'm not sure we're what you are looking for - we are a private film club that screens films on general release (but outside Hollywood/Mainstream cinema) to our members and guests. Our main contacts, the Independent Cinema Organisation (ICO) and the British Federation Of Film Societies (Cinema for all), are set up to assist community and independent cinemas.
However, I know the British Film Institute on the London South Bank are interested in preserving/digitising archive film, through its Film Is Fragile initiative. Without knowing the nature of the material you have, they may be interested in including it in the BFI National Archive (or, if not, suggest another organisation who might).

Hello there,
I would like to make an enquiry with regard to contacts that you have.
I have completed a considerable amount of videoing of a historical nature and want to donate this to a museum archieve. I am seeking direction on this as the formay is in Video tape and requires to be transposed to DVD on special equipment.

Despite enquiries the correct procedure has not been secured.

Can you assist in some way, perhaps some of your members may have experience or an interest in this area.
