Both, for me, were equally interesting and watchable, but so very different in form and content. I had problems with the way ‘Amour’ ended, with the killing of his wife by the husband. It must be difficult for film makers like Haneke to actually bring their work to a close. But all works of art are flawed, thank goodness! Now on to the next season!
